CVEC Hires New Marketing Manager

TALLADEGA, Ala. - Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative, headquartered in Talladega, Ala., announced today it has hired Jon Cullimore as its new manager of marketing and member services, said General Manager Frank Kujawski.

Cullimore, who started work April 16, will oversee all aspects of marketing, media and community relations, advertising and member services.

Prior to coming to CVEC, Cullimore worked as city editor for The Daily Home, the daily newspaper for the Talladega area. He has also served as editorial director for a group of trucking industry magazines, public relations specialist in the marine and outdoor recreation industries and managing editor of a nationally published water skiing magazine.

"Mr. Cullimore brings to this organization more than eight years experience in the communications field. We feel his strong commitment to professionalism and ties to the community will be an asset to our operations," Kujawski said.

Coosa Valley Electric, which serves more than 15,000 customers in Talladega, St. Clair, Shelby, Clay, Etowah and Calhoun counties, is a Touchstone Energy7 cooperative. Nationwide, some 1,000 cooperatives provide power to rural America, and 570 of those operate under the Touchstone Energy umbrella.
