Members of Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative will have the chance to win a Ford F150 XL truck along with dozens of bill credits during the Annual Meeting on Sept. 19 at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame Speed Dome.
“We look forward to welcoming our members back for this year’s Annual Meeting,” said General Manager Jon Cullimore. “It’s a time we can come together as a cooperative family, share updates and show our appreciation for the continued support of our members. It’s also a great opportunity for members to enjoy a fun morning, take part in the drawings and celebrate what makes our cooperative strong.”
Doors open at 8 a.m. Members can enjoy bingo throughout the morning, along with complimentary coffee, doughnuts, hot dogs and soft drinks while supplies last.
The first 1,000 registered members will receive goodie bags containing items such as light bulbs, a pizza cutter, keychain, compact tool and more.
Attending members will be eligible for a $15 bill credit as well as the prize drawings. The registration card attached to the CVEC Annual Report is required for members to be eligible for bill credits or prizes. The Annual Report will be mailed in late August.
The official business meeting will begin at 11 a.m. and will be streamed live on Coosa Valley Electric’s Facebook page. The meeting will include updates on cooperative operations and the swearing in of the Board of Trustees.
Drawings for the 2010 Ford F150 XL, two $500 bill credits, four $250 bill credits, six $100 bill credits and 10 $50 bill credits will take place during the meeting.
