Volunteer firefighters and their departments provide life-saving resources for much of Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative’s territory.
While the services offered are vital for local residents’ well-being, volunteer fire departments often face funding challenges. That is why CVEC is proud to offer its members a way to support their local volunteer fire departments with the Firemen’s Friend Fund.
Through FFF, any member can choose to donate money to the VFD of their choice via their monthly CVEC bill. CVEC will add the requested donation to each power bill then pass the donations directly to the designated VFD via a monthly check.
It’s a way to ensure first responders have the resources they need to respond to emergencies timely and effectively.
