Two Coosa Valley companies are rolling out fresh marketing campaigns aimed at highlighting the people who power and connect communities.
Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative and Coosa Valley Technologies recently launched new multi-platform campaigns designed to strengthen relationships with members and customers.

“Each campaign has a distinct focus,” said Jackie Edmondson, manager of marketing and member services. “Both center on a shared theme: local people making local impact.”
Coosa Valley Technologies’ new campaign, “Building Communities One Connection at a Time,” is customer-focused and showcases how reliable, high-speed internet supports growth, safety and connection across its service area. By showcasing satisfied customers, the goal is to entice others to sign up for CVT’s fast fiber internet service.
The campaign features the Henderson family (see page 5) along with five local businesses and organizations: The Gathering Cup at Turner Family Farms, Griffin Laser Graphics, Stockdale Farm, Pell City Fire Department and Lincoln Police Department.
“Our goal is to show what connection really means,” said Patrick Harris, sales and marketing manager at CVT. “It’s not just about speed. It’s about helping businesses grow, supporting public safety and making sure families can work, learn and be entertained without disruption. When we spotlight real customers, that story tells itself.”
The CVT commercials were scripted and storyboarded by Edmondson and produced by Nex-Tech, a Kansas-based marketing firm specializing in marketing broadband services. Photography for the campaign was captured by Kylie Mason and Kylie Entrekin from the marketing teams at CVT and CVEC, respectively.
At CVEC, the spotlight turns inward. The new campaign, “Your Partner in Power and Progress,” features 17 employees from across the Cooperative. The campaign showcases the people who work daily delivering safe, reliable electric service, including lineworkers, engineers, member services representatives and operations staff.

Like the CVT campaign, commercials will be delivered directly to streaming devices within the service area. Other mar-

keting includes billboards, radio spots, print advertising, social media posts and additional digital outreach.
“Trust is built through relationships,” said Jon Cullimore, general manager. “When our members see the faces of the employees who answer their calls, restore power after storms and maintain our infrastructure, it strengthens that connection. This campaign is about putting people first.”
The CVEC commercial concept, script and storyboard was developed by Edmondson. Photography and videography for the campaign was produced by Appalachian Media in partnership with Venture Marketing Group, both out of Gadsden.
Edmondson said investing in updated marketing collateral is essential in today’s fast-moving media environment.
“Our communities are growing and evolving, and our messaging should reflect that,” she said. “Fresh marketing materials allow us to tell our story in a way that feels current, relevant and authentic. Most importantly, it reminds our members and customers that we’re here. We are local, accessible and committed to their success.”
