New Year’s Resolutions for Coosa Valley Technologies

The new year doesn't mean new us: we're still the same Coosa Valley Technologies (CVT) that you know and love. But like many others, we see the new year as a chance to grow and improve.

We Want to Grow:

In March of 2024, we completed our initial buildout to serve all Coosa Valley Electric members. In 2025, our focus is on expanding into Pell City and Piedmont. In 2024, we were awarded 9 grants to expand our fully fiber-optic network, and we have been hard at work!

In late February, Coosa Valley Technologies received $12,500,000 in Capital Project Fund grants from the state.

Accepting the grants from Governor Kay Ivey, and Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs Director Kenneth Boswell were Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative Manager of Marketing and Member Services Jeremy Wise, CVEC Assistant General Manager/Manager of Finance Kim Maye, CVEC General Manager Jon Cullimore and former CVT Director of Operations Wesley Allen.

We Want to Meet More People:

With more than 6,800 customers, it's impossible to meet everyone, but we love connecting with as many as we can. In 2024, we engaged with our customers at several different events, including our annual Customer Appreciation event, the Coosa Valley Electric Annual Meeting and our first annual Trunk or Treat.

This year, we are already adding events to our social calendar!

We Want to Save You Money:

Last year, we launched our first promotion for new customers: 1 Gbps for $59.99 for 1 year. This year, we are currently running our "Refer a Friend" program until the end of March. If you love your Coosa Valley Technologies service, tell a friend and receive a $50 bill credit! Give us a call at (256) 649-4669 and ask for additional information concerning this promotion.

We Want to Stay Connected:

With everything happening this year, we want to keep you in the loop. Follow us on Facebook, this year and stay up to date on our expansion, our events, and our promotions!
