Payment Process Change Ahead

Beginning April 17, Coosa Valley Electric Cooperative employees will no longer accept credit and debit card payments over the phone.

This policy change ensures members’ sensitive data is properly protected and implements the latest in industry safety standards.

Don’t worry, though! There are still several ways to conveniently pay power bills.

  • Through an online account at
  • Through the CVEC Connect phone app.
  • By calling (800) 273-7210 and utilizing the automated menu prompts.
  • At any MoneyGram location (code 13933)
  • Using our drive-thru or office lobby at 69220 Alabama Highway 77 in Talladega* or
  • Using our night deposit box located in the drive-thru at our office.
    *Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
