In-Person Payments

Payment of any bills, invoices, or other charges can be made at the main office in Talladega, 69220 Alabama Highway 77, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Payments After Hours

A night depository is located at the office for making payment after normal working hours and during weekends and holidays.

Online Payments

Payments may also be made 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through this website or our automated telephone payment processing system.
To pay online, visit the online payment portal or click on the Pay Bill button located at the top of the website.
To pay over the phone, call (256) 362-4180 or (800) 273-7210 and choose option 1 after the initial greeting has completed.

Online Account Manager

The Online Account Manager enables our customers to securely manage their account and pay their bill via the Internet 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

CVEC Connect App

Coosa Valley Electric also offers the CVEC Connect smartphone app for both IOS and Android devices. Visit your appropriate app store.

Download the app and get signed in to get access to powerful tools to manage and pay on your account.

You may view usage history and even report a power outage if you have lost service at your account location.

Levelized Billing

Members using this payment option may pay a slightly different amount each month, but the program helps to level those months of high usage.

Levelized Billing works on a 12-month rolling average (The average is recalculated each month based on the previous 12 months usage).

This payment option works well for consumers on fixed incomes.

Automatic Bank Draft

The Automatic Bank Draft option will automatically debit your checking account at about the same time each month.

We will send you a statement with the amount before we debit your account.

This option works best when combined with levelized billing.

Credit Card Billing

Perhaps our most convenient payment option is Credit Card Billing.

Instead of billing you, we simply debit your credit card of choice.

We will send you a statement every month before we bill your credit card, so you’ll know exactly what to expect on your next credit card statement.

Members may also pay on their account at any MoneyGram location anywhere in the United States.
Visit the MoneyGram website to find a convenient location to pay your bill.

Pay Kiosk

Located in the foyer, the kiosk is available around the clock. Payments made through the kiosk are automatically credited to your account.

All you need to pay your bill is:

  • The CVEC account number
  • The phone number and name associated with the account
  • A method of payment (cash, credit/debit and e-check accepted) *

*Kiosk does not return change. Any payments made in excess of bill will be credited to the account on future bills.
